The father of Sara Sharif has been attacked in prison only week’s after being jailed for the girl’s murder.
Urfan Sharif is said to have been “jumped” by two other inmates in a cell.
It’s reported Sharif was cut around his face with part of a tuna can.
He received hospital treatment at the Category A Belmarsh Prison, which houses some of Britain’s most dangerous prisoners.
Sharif, 43, and Sara’s stepmother were given life sentences after being convicted at the Old Bailey in central London.
Sara was killed at the family home in Woking, Surrey.

The schoolgirl had been hooded and subjected to a “campaign of torture” that lasted two years, the jury was told.
A Prison Service spokesperson said:
“Police are investigating an assault on a prisoner at HMP Belmarsh on 1 January.
“It would be inappropriate to comment further while they investigate.”
A Met Police spokesperson said:
“Police are investigating an allegation that a prisoner was assaulted at HMP Belmarsh on 1 January.
“The victim, a 43-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.”
Urfan Sharif was sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in prison for murder.
His wife, Beinash Batool, 30, received a minimum of 33 years.
Sara’s uncle, Faisal Malik, 29, was sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment for causing or allowing her death.
All fled to Islamabad, Pakistan, with Sara’s five siblings, the day before her body was found.
They hid out for four weeks before returning to the UK.
