Katie Price has been charged with driving while disqualified after a car crash near her home.
The 43-year-old reality star is also accused of having no insurance.
Ms Price was arrested after the accident.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
She was not detained.
Sussex Police confirmed they were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the B2135 near Partridge Green at around 6:20am on Tuesday.
Pictures showed the car on its side.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:
“Katie Price, 43, of Worthing Road, Horsham, was charged with using a motor vehicle on a public place without third party insurance and driving whilst disqualified.
“She was remanded in custody and will appear at Crawley Remand Court.”
A statement from the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said:
“South East Coast Ambulance was called at approximately 6:30am to reports of an RTC on the B2135 at Partridge Green.
“One ambulance crew attended the scene, and one person was assessed and treated before being taken to hospital”.
Ms Price’s family posted to Instagram their concern for the celebrity.
It said: “For some time we have been concerned about Kate’s wellbeing and overall mental health and we will continue to help Kate get the help she needs.”
“As a family we hope she can find her path privately moving forward during this very difficult period in her life.
“We are not asking for sympathy – just that it is recognised that Kate is unwell.”
