A woman who won £27 million with a EuroMillions ticket has been found dead.
Margaret Loughrey said hitting the jackpot had “destroyed” her life.
She said the money had bought her “nothing but grief”.
The police were called to Ms Loughrey’s home in Strabane.
A post-mortem examination will be held.
However, her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Neighbour Paul Gallagher said:
“Margaret was well known and did a lot of good, charitable work around the town.
“People are shocked today.”
Ms Loughrey, 56, was unemployed and claiming benefits the day she bought her winning ticket in 2013.
Speaking in 2019, she said the win had “sent her to hell and back”.
She added: “Money has brought me nothing but grief.
“It has destroyed my life.”
