Booster Covid-19 vaccines are to be offered to more than 30 million Britons from next month.
More than 2,000 pharmacies will help deliver the target.
To allay fears the efficacy of the serum may start to decline, the Government plans to give 2.5 million people a third jab a week from September.
The programme will use pharmacies, allowing GPs and NHS staff to focus on treating a backlog of patients will other illnesses.
All adults aged 50 and over, as well as the immuno-suppressed, will be offered the booster jabs.
It is planned for the vaccine to be given the same time as the flu jab- possibly, one in each arm.
