Prime Minister Boris Johnson has married his fiancée Carrie Symonds.
The couple’s wedding caught everyone but close family and friends on the hop.
Only last week they told people to “save the date” for a ceremony next July, 2022.
The PM, 56, married Ms Symonds, 33, in a small ceremony in Westminster Cathedral.
The couple announced their engagement during a holiday to Mustique in 2019.
They have a one-year-old son called Wilfred.
The marriage is Mr Johnson’s third and Ms Symonds first.
The Sun reports the ceremony was conducted by Father Daniel Humphreys.
He had given the couple pre-marriage instructions, and baptised Wilfred last year.
Ms Symonds wore a long white dress but no veil.
