Epstein and Maxwell
Two more charges of sex trafficking have been filed against Ghislaine Maxwell.
The new claims concern a fourth alleged victim being “recruited” by the British socialite for her former boyfriend Jeffery Epstein.
Ms Maxwell – the daughter of disgraced media mogul Robert Maxwell – is said to have “sourced” the teenage girl for sex with Epstein at his home in Palm Beach, Florida.
Ms Maxwell is currently in prison in New York awaiting trial in the summer.
Her repeated pleas for bail have been refused.
She is accused of helping Epstein groom girls as young as 14.
He killed himself in prison in 2019.
If convicted Ms Maxwell faces up the 35 years in prison.
