Burglars have stolen a safe from the home of Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti, it’s reported.
Two masked men entered the house in Hall Road East, Crosby, Merseyside.
Ancelotti’s daughter Katia was alone in the property at the time.
It’s believed she disturbed the robbers.
The police confirmed two men dressed in black and wearing balaclavas were in the house.
However, they did not name the owner.
The Liverpool Echo revealed it was the Everton boss.
A police statement said:
“Officers attended and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The property will be forensically examined, and CCTV opportunities are being explored.”
It added the occupants of the house were “unharmed”.
