Prince Andrew is “angry and bewildered” by claims he’s failed to help US authorities investigate the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking inquiry.
A US lawyer claimed the Prince had been approached by legal teams and the FBI to help untangle the scandal.
However, despite the appeal, lawyer Geoffrey Berman said the royal has provided “zero co-operation” to investigators.
Now, a friend of the Prince reports he is “happy to talk” – but claims no one has asked him to.
The source told the Telegraph:
“The Duke is more than happy to talk to the FBI but he hasn’t been approached by them yet.
“He is angry about the way this is being portrayed and bewildered as to why this was said in New York.”
Buckingham Palace did not comment following the Berman press conference.
It’s believed a response is being handled by the Prince’s legal team.
Prince Andrew has emerged as a key figure in the Epstein scandal.
It’s alleged he had sex with a teenage girl at a party organised by the late Epstein.
