A pickpocket has stolen a £1 million watch from a tourist in Ibizia.
The thief lifted the Richard Mille (RM) watch, inspired by Formula One, after shoving his victim three or four times.
During the confrontation along the sea-front he took the RM 50-03 McLaren F1.
The owner, a 22-year-old man from Azerbaijan, received cuts and bruises to his arm and wrist.
He reported the theft to the police.
The feather-light RM 50-03
– weighing just 38 grams including the strap – is only one of 75 made.
It has a tourbillon movement to ensure the entire mechanism moves at one revolution a minute, nullifying the effects of gravity.
The RM 50-03 is also a chronograph, enabling it to measure time laps to fractions of seconds.
