High Street chemist chain Boots has seen a big rise in sales after selling its own brand of erectile dysfunction treatment.
Its medication Sildenafil is in direct competition to the brand Viagra – which is also sells.
Boots started selling Sildenafil in June – and already it’s seen a strong market growth.
Overall, the company has seen sales up by nearly 14 per cent.
The treatment is Boot’s first own-brand medication for erectile problems.
Customers need to consult with a Boots pharmacist before they can buy the tablets.
Boots is looking to offer own-brand alternatives to branded products.
