The man who organised a cross-Channel flight that killed two people has been found guilty of endangering the safety of an aircraft.
Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala, 28, and pilot David Ibbotson, 59, died when the Piper-Malibu single engine plane came down in the sea.
Sala’s body was recovered but Mr Ibbotson is still missing.
David Henderson, 67, was found guilty after a trial at Cardiff Crown Court.
It took the jury seven and a half hours to return a majority 10-2 verdict.
Henderson, from East Yorkshire, had earlier admitted trying to arrange a flight for a passenger without permission.
He will be sentenced next month.
Sala had been transferred from Nantes in France for £15 million to play for the then Premier League team Cardiff City.
